inside our grandeur of okay
and conceit
we should allow
the mind to take a time out
to allow
the murmuring of essence
to suggest measures
within the unsympathetic space
for who can truly live
within the bitterness among us
where no clear and pleasant beauty
can be found among the
plastic people
nay, not even
the mind can right
what has happened to the world at large
it needs the soul
(not the religious kind)
but the inner within us to burst forth
with the incorruptibility
we human lived with before
oh!
where is my head
mankind has always been deformed
(even the religious)
don't think so?
eh . . . they even wrote  about it
remember Cain and Abel?
that is if you can believe anything in the Bible

I will hold my fingers quiet because I have read and I have seen with mine own eyes the writings in the Bible, yea even pictures that talk and show of war and the horrors of war and the fruits of war and divisions of war. The cutting off of heads.Yea I agree times have not changed in this regard.
respectfully Jo

quote:
"plastic people"

Been awhile since skimming over this line JerryPat.

I still have a copy of the 'Plastic Ono Band' buried in the archives.

Re:

For myself, there is nothing else to believe in. I can live with anything that does not require faith JerryPat, but without faith I couldn't live with myself.

Excellent read showing how broad your bandwidth really is.

P.S
I'm using my weighted down pancho out to the mailbox today Southern Lou , how about you?

You absolutely have it right, Jo. I kinda figured it out when I was around fourteen years old.
