Brief-Candle Journeys From between the few orphaned clouds, a bright-clear moon enters the twilight Autumn window. Wisps of mist dance with the falling leaves and tree-shadows along the woodland edge of the ancient mountain forests. One thinks of the ten thousand traceless paths through these ‘endless’ hills that we have followed; and what have humans truly learned, of the infinite mystery of being, from the sum of all life's brief-candle journeys? --- b. e. adams (10/17/2015) |

quote: Some more than others SHDP, and those who profess to know more usually know less. The ones that possess the greatest knowledge and/or the greatest strength also possess the greatest humility. Sometimes. Good poetry to dwell upon SHDP. 88's friend She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
