Ignorance a force
The most dangerous on earth
A fatal attraction

You have a way with words, Lori, and I agree with these words one hundred percent.

the worst part about ignorance is that we all are always most unaware of our own ~L

For myself, these few things ring true:

The most 'dangerous' in life is the most prevalent.

The less we knew as a people, the less dangerous it was.

Without running off to Mr. Webster, 'ignorance' simply means that which is not known. It is a rather nasty sounding word full of negative connotations. Most of the people that call me 'stupid' don't know the word or are simply 'ignorant' of it.

It also has a piece of hidden advice when you break it in two and sound it out:

ignor[e] rant

Knowledge is power.

Power can aid or destroy.

Which as a people have we used our power (knowledge) for the most with the greatest impact?

According to the most popular story on earth, there was a tree...

Oh Jeeze the tree! It was all that damn woman's fault. If Adam had taken the first bite women would still be wearing fig leaves!

No, that wasn't quite what I was alluding to Miss Lori.

I blame no one. Things are what they are and we deal with them and then we're gone. As we fall, we pass the torch of eternal fire to someone else. I merely meant that the tree possessed the 'knowledge' of good and evil.

I've always looked at the incident as a romantic tragedy. Adam, knowing that Eve was then going to die, could not live without her in his heart, so he too ate of the fruit and eventually died.

What one believes is there own personal choice. For me, good and evil are real and that power from either produces the same, not necessarily in equal proportions.

As it says in the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 12, verse 14:

"For He shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil".

Thanks for the clarification! I really like the way you think. I appreciate that you use Scripture for reference.
My remark I have to admit was a bit of a knee jerk assumption to JP2 saying thank you.
For all the pearls of wisdom I've managed to culture in my lifetime, I am most often prone to default to just being a wise ass...
