the sound of raindrops
and falling leaves
nothing else
October melody

               --- b. e. adams

Autumn sunrise
'endless' mountains
breathing clouds
  and mist

               --- b. e. adams

chilled clouds
always hurrying,
   hurrying
October rain

               --- b. e. adams

rainbow-leaves
in the early
   Autumn rain
even more
beautiful

               --- b. e. adams

my thoughts
and dreams
  of you
like these
mountains
in the autumn
  moonlight___
endless

               --- b. e. adams

walking
in the Autumn
   forest
a path to
   nowhere

               --- b. e. adams

memories of your love
and Autumn's final rose
Nothing more beautiful

               --- b. e. adams

autumn shower
soundless on
the falling leaves
thoughts of you

                --- b. e. adams

telling myself lies
of all that 'still
  could be'
Autumn rain

                --- b. e. adams

I wrote your name
on a leaf not fallen
Indian Summer

                --- b. e. adams

   living on
living on___
all grows colder

                --- b. e. adams

October evening
If only she were here
to dance in this
   moonlight

                --- b. e. adams

evening bells
and harvest moon
would that these
few words could
catch a heart
Autumn passing

                --- b. e. adams

the morning star
otherwise nothing
but this misty forest

               --- b. e. adams

Some of your writing clings to nature and then turns inward to expressions of loneliness and disparity. In each of these finely crafted pieces, you allow a glimpse into both.

In other regions in which I hung my topper, the seasons were so much more defined by color than where I am now.

Enjoyed them all SHDP.

Thank you for your comment on these ever-so-humble lil' Zenoids (poetic Feng Shui) ... (indeed, "I 'am' what I write!")

As always ... thanks so much, Jo !

Perhaps a 'sad & lonely life' is a fine crucible for good poetry?!
