The mask begins to slip revealing hidden truths and blatant lies. The believers cling to false hope as the deceiver's dream dies. Do not underestimate the founders. Their influence is potent and wise. Their protection woven into the symbols of a nation. Ida Werrett |

The principles are not hard to restore. One simply has to remove self serving interpretation from them. Recognize the perspective of the time in which it was written and apply accordingly. Gosh don't get me started!!!! The Constitution was never intended to be a means of political manipulation. Thanks for the soapbox Ida! Lori |

Thank you Ida. You have hit the proverbial nail on the head. ~*~ Life is simpler when you plow around the stump. ~*~ |

This double-post-modern "Runaway American Dream" has most certainly devolved into a corporate 'mediocracy' rather than the participatory 'democracy' (of Jeffersonian purity) of the 'every-person' that my ancestor John and friends (men of the 'enlightenment') had envisioned and intended ... government of, by, and for the people did NOT mean of, by, and for only the ever-fewer, ever-richer members of the 'entrenched privilege' caste, megalithic corporate octopi and their 'special interest' lobbies, and secret societies, etc. What do I tell my son, John Adams 'to be proud of?!' timely 'write,' Ida !
