the me that tries to forget the me that wanders alone in what for me has become an insensitive world one just not aware of the strings in my heart that have lost their hold and now dangle in the despair of your absence and then there were the nights and the mornings after and all those waking hours and then... it wasn't the letdowns it was like the "dog" or the "job", the "how are you's" ... etcetera Using time like a box of band-aids But now the tin is empty And I’m still bleeding She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

This is just about the loneliest thing I have read in a long time. All the bandaids in the world cant stop the ache that just bleeds from this |

Again, your pain comes from a different place than mine but your exacto knife rendering of it is so perfect that it opened a seal on mine. I had an awakening of sorts. I realized I'm still bleeding from dead ex's. Time has not appeared to "heal" some wounds, it just runs interference. I am enjoying your work very much. ~L |

Thank you all for your wonderful replies. Miss Lori, you've placed a few extra in my tin. So many thanks! 88's friends. She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
