Words of a Poet

Words of a poet are dreams of the dawning
Morning to morning and season to year
Summer and winter the silence is calling
From stars of the galaxy, distant and clear

What do you see from your place in the universe
Phrases of beauty in a mirror of time
Stars are eternal as love everlasting
Verses eternal to lovers of rhyme

Tides ever changing are mysteries of wonder
Meadows of peace are God’s soft lullabies
Rhythms of life pulse the depth of the heavens
Poetry echoes the width of the skies

My words are often dratted nuisances that insist on visiting at the most inopportune times. LOL But if they were this beautiful, they'd be welcomed, no matter what!
