The Blink of an Eye "I can cry in the blink of an eye."...Matt the Cat My sister said her cat was looking at her kind of strange; I think, some kind of subtle communication signaling her that she was talking way too long on the phone (with me), and not properly observing that Matt, her cat was a hungry cat and was probably thinking that; dear lady, that feeds me normally, you're lucky I don't know how to open that cat food myself sitting over there on the shelf, but no...., I can only sit and stare and watch you closely and hope you care (that I'm hungry), so I'm sitting here starring you down, will you kindly put that silly phone down and get around to opening that delicious can of cat food; please feed me, don't be so mean, don't be so rude; or else unless, you would prefer I stop the starring and start the meowing; believe me I'm not shy, it only takes the blink of an eye. Reminded me of a child when the mom is on the telephone too long or today at the computer and not giving the child enough attention. Jo |
