Of your twisted forever will
determining for five seasons
my every move;

Of your iron bar
curbing my words
and whom I give them to;

Of your prison
for better aim
of your interminable persecutions;

Of your malice
and fogging in glee
the horizons of my friends
into mocking me
unwittingly;

Of the peace and fading
that I requested
and your determination
for venomous war;

I am free
as neither bird nor even Phoenix
ever
was
nor
will be.

Oh, Michael, you sweetie-pie!  Thank you for your beautiful, supportive reply!  I know you mean that metaphorically, because what I most need is not to be anywhere near him, and I don't believe in revenge, but sadly he does!  He was go-getting me, but now he can't.

There were some good, beautiful times too, but he insists on self-destructing wherever he goes and he tried to destroy me too.  I tried to help him, but he doesn't want to be helped.  I wanted peace.  He wanted war.  And I won the war.  And now I am free.  And I will stay forever free.

Thank you Martyjo, for such a beautiful, kind, compassionate reply.  I don't understand some people.  Animals are so much easier to understand.

I haven't been here much either, Diana. I was in the hospital twice. I had to have a hysterectomy and then got in infection. I am doing much better now and trying to catch up on some poetry.  Glad to be reading you again.

I am so sorry that you have been in hospital.  A hysterectomy is a huge op (my daughter-in-law had one a year or two ago) and then an infection on top of that!  Ouch!  You poor sweetie!  I am glad you are doing much better now.  Thank you for your kind words.

Love
Diana

Thank you, Yann.  I am glad I won too, but sad that there had to be a war.  I wanted it to end amicably.
