one day follows the other a change of sorts we don’t change all that much we are pretty much the same as yesterday in our thoughts they stay in place people passing us by see only the outward shell of us we smile and go on our way hiding truths within we could be walking around flashing that smile thinking dark, dark thoughts and absolute unhappiness behind our eyes we might desire something . . . a lover maybe just an honest and true friend to get us out of our rut the classic smile and outward joy is many times a method to hide truth I have a feeling if we could read those falsified smiles of everyone we meet we would all go screaming back home lock the doors pull all the blinds and/or curtains turn off the lights and sit somewhere trembling and cradling our weapon of choice ©June 18, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

or we could just watch news at 11 and then instead of trembling we could read Ephesians 6:14 and surrounding "parts of the armor" Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Yeah, you're right, Virginia, to take care of the problem according to our different laws of logic . . . Thanks for the read and comment . . . ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
