Glasses are empty, it is a good thing, I drank the loves and their strange wines, I tried to know the drunkenness of angels, To drink the life as a solitary Indian. I wished to extract the truth of these glasses, Low liqueurs, dark tannins, the defects of the world do not drink, Glasses have eyes in the back The whisky it is vulgar as a louse, The kisses are heavier than the sea, The Porto lies as a single bottle, And the vodka has too short-lived dreams, Glasses are sometimes too brilliant, Empty in a flash of lightning at night, I drank the beautiful illusions of the poetry, Glasses are empty, it is a good thing... Hah! Yep, sometimes it is much, much better that the glasses are empty, Yann . . . ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

"..it is a good thing, I drank the loves and their strange wines, I tried to know the drunkenness of angels.." ~A breath-stealing wisp of poetry sweetie, I love this! "Empty in a flash of lightning at night.." ~This one reminds of that burn, of a shot going down. awesome line! Overall? A beaut, Yann! ~d "..But a tyrant spell has bound me, And I cannot, cannot go.." ~Emily Bronte 'The Night is Darkening Around Me' |

quote:I've looked through the bottom of that glass many times. Everything looks different from that vantage point. Enjoyed this. Michael |
