Search Your Heart When a disaster such as an earthquake comes it doesn't give you lots of warning, earlier that morning you were sharing breakfast with your family not knowing what the soon to come future holds, love and concern and kind words abound in the happiness of life; after breakfast some leave and some stay not knowing that disaster is not very far away, then suddenly it happens, the thing that nobody wanted but all in some way are affected by this terribe earthquake; some loved ones that had left earlier would never return; some would return to dead or missing love ones upon the day after to those that survived reality sets in; families that were whole have become broken or missing pieces, now surviving has become their new way of life, basic necessities like food and water clothing and housing are scarce; yes this is a storm in life, a testing of their resolve; for others, on the other side of the earth, it is a testing of their heart, knowing others are suffering, knowing this is an opportunity for the strong to help those in a weak place; will they search their hearts and help? There is hope, some are already helping. jamesLee 5/4/15 You can go on line to Samaritanspurse.org to give donations. Thank You. |

Powerfully sensitive and compassionate, dear James! You touch the heart of the reader. The fragility of life shows in times as these and consequently we should be more strongly aware of being all on the same "ship", thus we should not continue fighting against each other but love each other and help each other in all moments.
