Sparking a slender smoke- I puff in lady-likened O's... Nervy you, inside my sway- you've been here, before today. Our dance was dark in passion's arms, youth's long years ago- tip-toeing toward a soul-slide ...when you were but my own. We forced cuervo to a sunrise between nothing but our skin- I crowned my heart-pound worthy won't ever blend like that again. My tongue can't forget the taste of my kiss inside your mouth, both of us, in sweetest midnight wake-and-pounce. Soft toe-press now, on shaded earth... I'll meet you there in dream- you humble me, with eyes destined to see past every tree. In slow cadence, re-tasting lips- I ne'er again thought to sip... Can you hear your voice caress my sighs- as you did long ago? Still bold mesh and flutters, for you- fast under this heart, we slipped soft into soul-slide then and ended miles apart. Older now, that pull still tugs- my always-more-than friend, A'feared to lose your life-shine twice I tread slow on door's Begin. Still emotions not feigned, are destined to remain. and I remember... every. thing. Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

What a touching and lovely remembrance of a love which still exist although not physically as before. You meshed your words superbly, Tanya. Read it twice. Will read it again. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

quote: I could visualize this whole piece. I could feel the passions from the past, and the timidity, from where you seem precariously balanced, facing the future. Remembering everything, that can be a double-edged sword. Some things do get better with time. Michael |
