I'm sorry if it spills out too strong, It's a lot to hold inside and my finger slips in weary abandon, from the crack in my composure. Grated gates now open, so enter on in- a plethora awaits, painted jagged on grin. All that I've silenced rushes out, loud and late as salts stain my vision in flooded escape. Lend me a finger, don't need your whole hand- 'Cuz contradictions are wealthy and you won't understand. importunate? Not me. just need a plug for this dam. Silence is my obvious- my teller of tales I'd speak soft in caution rather than wail. I'm sorry if Unspoken, challenges your whim- This tide may be rising, but I'm stubborn to the swim. Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

As long as it spills out, devina, and no indeed don't hold it inside. Leave those gates wide open and give into your need to just let everything out . . . ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

You stubborn, Tanya? nah, can't see it. Love the rhyme you've incorporated here though. Very nice touch. I doubt most things people might feel would "demand understanding" about themselves might be perceived the same by those they think would be doing the demanding. Unless they just like to hang out with royal jerks or something. I think most are probably too worried about how you are perceiving them. Your "Unspoken" is read loud and clear here, and rendered beautifully. Michael |

I love this entire poem - but particularly the image of a finger being enough. I may not comment again but this is one I'll come back and read again - it resonates within. |

Ah, but isn't the "finger" merely a cry for the whole hand . . . even from a pain in the arse . . .in my experience with others it definitely is, no matter how downplayed or, parlayed. Cool piece. j. |
