oh boy, amid all the coming and not leaving the world of an afternoon in the swamp the hazy hours of daylight are at its conclusion and tranquility rocks the time of day where what was once is there but can’t be touched sitting here with what I find positive in my life keyboard, pencil, glass of cheap California burgundy I rest easy in the shadow each and every one eh . . . but the single bulb hanging from the ceiling turns my uninteresting wall into ethereal reflections feel as though I am in the eye of a hurricane shattering my Zen-like composure as I watch myself in the middle of my empty thoughts then everything disappears, eh, completely and I remain in a unresponsive awkward moment ©April 14, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ [This message has been edited by JerryPat2 (04-20-2015 07:49 AM).] |

Don't you just hate it when that happens? A person can't enjoy a serene, surreal moment without reality butting in and breaking your concentration. Eh, but at least you had the moment... some people's minds are not even wired to go there. ~L |

Don't have too many ethereal moments here anymore... I think maybe I've subconsciously stopped reaching for them. It always sucked coming back to reality for me, but hey, at least you were there. Michael |

Ahhh . . . You're right about those ethereal moments, Michael, I actually have convinced that reality is better suited for confrontations.
