Didn't Get My Love Story I ruined my own life You take no credit Except for that reminder That you too wont love me I told myself that I wouldn't pick up the phone I told myself that I have grown harder now I told my self that I wouldn't get played in the game I have always been a softy Too quick to forgive and forget Leaving my heart on my sleeve But I am the biggest fool And someone out there Has to be looking For such a quality. It seem so much more common place these days for young people having to endure the aftermath of broken relationships. Good hearted, caring people deserve better. Everyone's someone is out there. But where can you look these days. I have a son that's totally given up looking. These are sad times for sure... Well written piece |

Yep. Someone out there is looking for you, Juju. He is there, you are here and you two will eventually meet I feel sure of that. Wishing the best for you. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Looking is the hard part - it takes work, and in many cases, isn't true. It makes one present false fronts, whether we realize it or not, presenting oneself as what one perceives is wanted, and in the long run shoots us in the foot because if one is accepted, it's for the self that was presented, not the self in truth. This doesn't mean you won't have more temporary relationships, though, until the right one comes along, because it does take two to see the light, and your light may not be theirs. Being no different than anyone else, from my first love at 6, I have had my loves and losses, some extremely painful, but I learned after 2nd or 3rd time, to stop looking, to be me and whatever that brings, and I never had to "look" again, all I had to do was wait to be found, and the relationship was always better that way. Forty years ago I wasn't looking, I was just having fun, and so was she . . . and forty years ago, we both were found. Hang in there, the you I know through PIP, is awesome, her writing tells me that... and one day, you too will be found, if you don't push it, (and whether this piece was about you or not, my comment still applies) j. |

It's a huge thing to have deep thoughts, for that makes wonderful conversation. Also no need to blame anything upon your self, for any one who chooses not to love you, it's simply thier loss. I have had my share of broken hearts. Trust me when I say, you will get your own "happy ending" one day. |

Your words resonate deeply, telling a story that's also mine. And from that place, with that knowledge, I tell you - those who can't or will not see miss out on a gift, but they don't diminish its worth. May your someday come soon - and be worth every minute of the wait! |
