der Sturm when evening comes and darkness calls the snow falls on and on, caressing all with soft-white alabaster hands, effacing all the sharp-edged sins of man. --- b. e. adams (2/5/2014) |

Very well said and written. These are thoughts that have often come to me as well, especially after a few fresh inches of snow. It's beauty covers what my mother promised a fresh coat of paint would...a multitude of sins. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your poetry. ...just bein' Bluesy [This message has been edited by Bluesy Socrateaser (02-06-2014 11:42 PM).] |

Snow does cover a lot of ugliness. Bruce. A bit of a two-edged sword. Ida |

Beautiful, but then the slush and dirt come and spoil the beauty of fresh falling snow. Somewhat like life itself I guess. Best to you, jo |
