Spring sun shines lingering warm Windows open to let winter out Calves frolic in the still brown pastures Wheat greens the furrowed fields Garden soil is tilled and ready Crocus crouch just below the surface Full are the nests, burrows and dens Buzzards wheeling eager to begin spring cleaning |

Very Nice! Can't wait! I basically missed spring (fabulous as it was) last year because of surgery - this spring may well be just as good, nature wise, with all the rain we've had. Wild flowers should be just beautiful and prolific! Got my camera ready, the will and the way too, of course --- Not as agile as I once was but Can't Wait!! Enjoyed j. |

Only you would know to include that last line, Lori. The poem was glorifying the coming of spring and the buzzards were destroying what winter left behind. Stunning perceptive! ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
