Let me go back. Go on, let me go back. For just one more night alone, to our little room with the aquarium: you, me, Nina Simone. Let old Bojangles dance one more lick. Hey, I'll buy him new shoes. Strange how happy you can be, just listening to the blues. I know, I know, there's no going back, but I never lied. like his old dog: it died. It just up and died. |

That darned old dog, showing it had no respect for Mr Bojangles, left him without a snarl or grunt . . . eh . . . he just up and died. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
