(I have found peace in this world, but sometimes the dark does visit.) at times my mind is completely void dark this mind of mine was once an unruffled one but now on certain days it take a great effort to retain sanity frustration comes to call ensnared within the blizzard of insanity is a constant fight to help me win the battle and once again see the world as the world needs to be seen to see the light oh, but when darkness slips in I would literally sell my soul to the pagan god of death but I still lingered on the wingspan of hope understanding its my very life which is at stake knowing the winds of change is trying to steer me back on course I hold my breath and wait ©February 20, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

the winds of change can be brutal or a balm my friend. I think it is cool we both came up with a poem with the same title because of your poem Wind. You know what they say about great minds... ~L |
