My return is long over due
Though life has kept me moving
I've not lost my passion for you.
Though it's been a few years
I've still got feelings and fears.
Granted they've aged with me
Their power did not leave.
Poetry saved my life once upon a time,
So now here's a blast from the past,
In a little rhyme.
The words we seek flow like a stream
So did my poetry.
Writing about being a man who would understand,
Or remembering things and feelings past.
People in my memory.
Now I've got a family.
Making it when no one else could see
Everything was and is within reach.
Happy now, as it's been for awhile.
No longer living the way others do
Instead got my own thing.
proud of it too

Hope there is someone who remembers me. I might change my username soon though. I'm not a young punk any more haha!

Welcome back to the land of friendly, where no questions are asked, no explanation needed.

i can't say i remember you but i myself had one of those moments where you go heck yeah lets just try out the old poetry again see if i still got the magic or even if i don't lets see where it leads or what thoughts might come to me.

welcome back to the pages blue, I've just recently returned as well. It seems these pages are always in your blood no matter how much time passes.
This write is wonderful, I enjoyed it very much & I too was saved by poetry many, many moons ago
