http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/537/A92nNK.jpg I see children playing in the yard afternoon teas on the wrap around porch smoke curling from the smokestack above on the balcony a soft woman is caught wondering where her love has disappeared to I see people sitting on the porch swapping gossip tales as they tend to their knitting the house has been bricked which is fresh and is the color of a soft red rose I can make out men, three or four sitting on the porch steps and standing beside it smoking their cigarettes some taking snuff somewhat removed from the ladies to indulge in their particular vice but not out of range of the women’s voices some of which I am sure are bewailing the fact that the drifting smoke is choking them one of the men laughs and retorts at least I don’t have to be drunk on blended whiskey to get to sleep nights then all the men laugh but get up and walk around to the side of the house and last but of course not the least I see a huge number of people in the front yard where a young woman face covered with veil and a likewise young man sans veil . . .
