All That Need Be Said Though I have ‘painted’ a thousand magic images bright and deep in so very many poems of Love and admiration each which sought, perhaps in vain, to tempt perfection from the boundless, unforgiving canvass of the empty page and capture the grand-immeasurable effect of you, and your loveliness of mind and heart and form, upon all that I am or could ever hope to be ... when my spirit first spoke to yours, I simply must believe, you had already heard all the 'words' that ever need be said. --- b. e. adams (1/27/2015) |

You made me think with this one. Can we ever say what we mean, and if we can, is it necessary? Are words and images necessary when love is reciprocated? And if it is not reciprocated, are they of any value at all? Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

We guys sometimes, (often actually) find the right words to bestow upon the love of our life. I find that to be the case daily it seems. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

You're fortunate, JP ... none of my 'words' have ever been effective in 'relationships' ... most Americans simply don't have "poetic souls," methinks?! |
