In the wake of Der Sturm beyond every sunset my heart sails to you on the Winter wind a lost forest path in the mist delicious uncertainty in the falling dusk a withering Winter wind beyond all respite a pallid sun like a thief vanishes over the rooftops Winter chill barren trees bleak skies everywhere frozen memories evergreens by Winter moonlight snow tumbling bow to bow Winter storm peace reigns in this world without sound tree shadows and frigid moonlight somewhere there is warmth and love beyond the storm winter clouds tipped in flash-frozen moonlight numbing cold and silvered emptiness Winter moon --- b. e. adams (1/26/2015) |

your words are warm filling in the barren landscapes rendered by the cruelty of this frigid season |

These are all excellent. But this one, "a pallid sun like a thief vanishes over the rooftops Winter chill" is truly outstanding. I love it. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
