Whispers of Life and Spring In these grand-immortal hours before a tentative dawn the wind sings a sad lament through the ‘endless’ hills of this forest world still frozen in the grip of the Winter moon and some distant ‘Deep-Time’ dream, when even the very rocks hold their breath as all the land awaits the morning star in tentative hope of new life and Spring whispered to the sunrise by ten thousand infinitesimally tiny hidden things. --- b. e. adams (1/25/2015) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (01-25-2015 11:20 PM).] |

thank you ! ... today being America's 'ground hog day,' perhaps the lil' 'prognosticator' will decide on an early Spring 'round these parts?! |

Beautiful thoughts of spring, Bruce. Actually today was like a spring day here. Ida |

You're fortunate, Ida ... It is like the Arctic here tonight in the 'endless' mountains of 'ol Appalachia ... after a VERY wet and heavy snowstorm yesterday ... |

Enjoyed, Bruce. I look forward to spring as a relief for the extreme summer heat we're suffering through now - but, hey, at least there's never any snow here. |

we have rather 'nasty' ice storms ... I dislike those far more than the snow! |
