SPOT a spot of sun, a spot of tea a spot of rain, a spot of grain a spot of grime to fit my rhyme a spot of glue upon my shoe it gives a clue of what to do a spot of mustard upon my custard makes me cringe, but then I think it just may help that noxious stuff contrast the egginess by adding tanginess make it savory in its flavory so don’t you knock it until you’ve tried it you may find a change of mind no longer bent to shout, “Blasted spot, get out!” apologies to Shakespeare ©Virginia Salter February 1, 2014 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Heh.Heh You certainly gave my "Sunspot" a viable run for its money, Virginia. I just knew you were going to say "Out damned Spot, I say out!" at the end, but you did it your way and THAT was the best way. Shakespeare is somewhere grinning. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Thanks, JP, glad you got a smile and though you had a close expectation, I'm happy I tweaked it just enough. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Your humoristic vein is quite entertaining, dear Virginia. You gave your pen the freedom to rock. Margherita |
