I'm in strange mood even as I reach for tomorrow yesterday closes with a resounding SNAP shutting the door ne'er to visit again except in memories no matter how much I might want to redo, even re-say things yesterday is frozen shut like a photo of a chess game you see the mistakes you hear the unkind thing you say which hurt hose who love you sometimes you spend many a sleepless night looking at that frozen chess game and you want to die ©January 17, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Well, I certainly hope you don't die. You seem to have good closure on a lot of the past so now's the time enjoy some of the romance of life. Some nice images in this Jerry, and as always great honesty. I like that. Thanks for dropping in on my post, I have it up there now.....Dang Hotmail!! Eric |

You can bet I'm cooling my heels and having the time of my life. I have beaten down my demons, Eric. Oh, I still write dark poems every so often, but not with anywhere near the intensity I used to. I'm happy man. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

In much of your writing there is a coming to terms with the past. A facing of regrets and mistakes, and moving on. Better and happier for it. That ain't easily accomplished, no it ain't. It takes a lot of self-analysing, and self-criticism. Respect. |

Thank you Redstart. Through my self-critical poetry over the years I have succeeded in beating back my demons. I had many. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
