Seventh Street
I have lots of good memories of seventh street. There were lots of small businesses on seventh street, one was a nice little dress shop with skinny manniquins wearing fancy dresses. Walk a little further past a golf shop fill with clubs and more balls then you could whack on a Saturday afternoon, and then an antique shop where a grandma's furniture ends up when she doesn't need it anymore. Next door a skateboard business where a colorful selection of boards hangs on the walls and a few with wheels already attached await patiently in the display windows until they are set free to roll on seventh street. From here you can smell the fresh ham and eggs they are busy preparing for hungry travelers that made their way to "Egg Heaven",a very popular place in this beachside city named Long Beach. That's it, I can't resist, I going in to enjoy the blessings of seventh street.

Memories like that one are like old shoes you find in the back of the closet, that used to be your favorites, you put them back on again because they are so comfortable. And when you do you remember who you were when you wore them.

Ehhh . . . I remember Uncle Tom's Barber Shop and the pool hall in my little town. Nice nostalgic stroll down Seventh Street James.
