Zen of Winter Passing beyond the storm the milky way stretches over all that has ever been the cold settles in on ‘endless’ hills of Winter moonlight beyond the forest edge moonlight and distant evening bells surely somewhere there is a world free of yearning pale twilight a Winter raven wanders off into the endless sky what do we truly know of the shadows or the light rocks and water a forest path to nowhere rocks and water weeping … perhaps the willow knows all passions of the heart past and future unattainable dance in the Winter moonlight The wind is so gentle the moon so bright come then, my darling lets dance the moonlight alone in the Winter moonlight when is a life more than a monument to silence Winter midnight everywhere frost and condensed moonlight --- b. e. adams (1/16/2015) |

We only know what we know. 'Endless hills which actually have an end, except maybe in your thoughts. Just keep on keeping on, Bruce ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
