There is no greater place for me Than sitting beneath my favorite tree Sipping on a cup of tea Staring out at the endless sea I swat at a passing bee As my thoughts float free At the water's edge of reality On the waves of an endless sea When my maker comes for me I'll watch my soul slip free Washed away in the endless sea In the Sea of Tranquility |

Ahhh . . . So beautifully done is this "passage" poem, Kat. I love you rhyming, it seemed so very natural and read so easily. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

And here I thought I'd be on the moon. Peacefully written. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Sounds like you have your eyes on two seas at once there. I look very forward to the second one as well. Michael |

Thanks everyone for reading my poem. I know that the Sea of Tranquility is named for a place on the moon (place with no water)but the sea of tranquility I was refering to was more of a feeling than a place. Kat >^..^< |

I'm gazing at a full moon, above a tranquil sea. Seeing two seas. Beautiful image. |

Very nicely put, dear Kat! The vastness of the sea inspired you beautifully, Love, Margherita |
