What a wonderfully happy poem, Jimmy. And you are correct, when get togethers like that happen old wounds are shoved aside. Great Christmasy poem. Dammit I'm Mad is Dammit I'm Mad spelled backward. |

Thanks Folks for your view and words!! Didn't realize the photo of us didn't appear with the poem - together they are the "Christmas Card" we sent out. The photo of us is on the rim of the Grand Canyon (Iknow, you can't tell it, but it is) that I put a "freebie" border around, and added the text . . . was fun to do!! My grand daughter (13) calls us old codgers - now I have to ask, do we look like "codgers"?? And OLD? We're 69 (I married a youngster) and I'm only 71 on the 3rd of this month ... and I Know some of you are really OLDer than me, er, sorry Jerry, but I won't name any of the girls!! |

Well, I am so glad I felt like peeking in once again on your Christmas poem, dear Jimmy. It was a lovely surprise to find you and your wife smiling at me in that great picture. Much enjoyed. I have no idea what "codgers" means, but of course I can imagine. Love and peace. Margherita ps ok I checked "codgers" on the dictionary and found the perfect German word for it "Kauz ..." we say that too "ein alter Kauz" ! |

Jimmy a beautiful photo of your wife and you. Time to change the one you have been using on these blue pages. You are both just children. You are still youngsters. Yes I will soon be 83 and still find it fun to entertain my grandchildren and six great grandchildren If I can still get them to laugh at my stories and snap bubble wrap together in crazy ways I will never accept the words "OLD Codger" LOL Have a great Holiday and New year.
