Somethings are tough to get over on, Try as much, they don't let go. Sometimes its difficult to be moving on, Hide as much, the wounds will show. Some faces are gruelling to forget, Memories are etched into the mind. Some people are vexing to ignore, Broken strings of love still bind. Some thoughts are impossible to forgo, Dreams keep a man from falling apart. How them can one just let it go? The beating of a broken heart... |

I think everyone can relate to your well expressed emotions. To let go is an art we better learn, lest we suffer a lifetime. To let go past events the main key is forgiveness, towards others, towards oneselves, towards life itself. And a permanent thought to think every morning: Every day is a new beginning, I am new every day, I want to live up to my potential. I can if I detach from negative thoughts and memories. Peace. Understand your words and feelings. Letting go of that which is only pulling you back is hard to do.But Margherita has it correct. It is something we must all try to do. Thank you for your words. Jo Perry |

One cannot "let go" as such; The mind is too well designed to do that. So one accepts what was and is no longer, and adds new things to one's life from that point on, while maintaining the memories of the past. Or, if one wants to "live" with the ghost of what no longer is - one causes one's own suffering beyond a reasonable point of "mourning". |
