I shed a tear today
not unusual for me
I listened to a speech today
spoken by a son whose mother
was not there.

Some had cause to comment
and thought my loyalties were wrong
But I just felt the love
the speaker would have shared
had his mother been alive.

Yes I shed a tear today.

Your loyalties are YOUR loyalties, Jo, right or wrong they are yours. No one has the right to question them.
