Too early Thursday the bird is stuffed and thrust into the waiting oven The kitchen symphony’s opening overture The Maestro mixing instrumental ingredients together harmonizing favorite familiar flavors Cranberry’s crescendo of color complemented by the broccoli’s green Pianissimo of pepper’s dash dancing across the dishes. The grand finale of family circles the table saying grace. |

Lori, Jerry and Yann, Thanks for the read! It can be quite the ordeal alright! I'm not up to single handed heroics this year. I'm just doing the few "family favorites" and leaving the basic dinner up to someone else. That still has me making 5 different items. Good thing I enjoy cooking! ![]() |

And I'm really not late for the turkey...you're about to thrust in another one, aren't you? Wishing you well, my friend. What is it that we live so close together, and rarely see one another? We've got to change that! |

Me and my bad eyes saw "Turkey Canasta" at first read... wasn't sure that was gonna be a game I wanted anything to do with. ![]() Michael |

My first thoughts were: that's slightly early this year, but of course turkey is for thanksgiving in the USA, and Christmas in the UK. It seems identical in preparation. I'll be thinking of your Turkey Cantata when I slice up a portion of The King's College Choir. |
