never noticed it before about fall's leaves being redder than that what spring brings us no pollen either when the wind picks them up no telling where they will wind up now I've not been on this old earth all that long no matter I can gaze at the heavens and understand things will more than likely go on uninterrupted for a few hundred millions of years mankind may be gone or morphed into something quite different that we are today but somehow I refuse to believe this ole universe will find a way to self destruct ©November 15, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Well Jerry you are right. If you want to get scientific about it, energy can never be destroyed it just takes another form. You could say in a round about way we eat sunshine everyday. The vegetation uses the sunlight to make food, the vegetation becomes food for us and the mammals we eat. I like your ponderings in this poem. ![]() |

Thanks Lori for explaining the recycling process of the universe. That is a good way of explaining things. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |
