Highways striped with brine Trucks waiting loaded with salt Stores with shovels and ice melt stocked at their front doors Homes have plenty of hot chocolate Boots and mittens have been matched and mated Everyone is getting ready for that first snowfall for the fender-benders the slips and falls the staying in the power going out Everyone is watching the weather man- young sledders hoping for a hit travelers for a miss Little noses up against the glass looking for a flake [This message has been edited by Lori Grosser Rhoden (11-15-2014 08:14 AM).] |

Thanks EmmaRose! My favorite part of the cold is all the cozy stuff that comes with it. |
