is she alive or not I've looked everywhere and not found her each evening as sunset grows fainter I grieve placidly if I was a praying man she would be in them daily I don't sleep so well thinking of my verses getting up to write them down ahhh . . . no one was more treasured and no one made me suffer more not even the one who embraced me and left If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

I suppose love would not be so significant if it didn't have its sister shadow beside it. The darker without, the brighter burned within. |
