This is not the end of the world... but you can see it from here. |

I had this idea that the world would end And the Sky opened and the rains came Thunder rolled lightening crashed The birds screamed I felt the earth shatter in my path For the word was spoken And the Earth answered in turn Death stalked the land as a brother taking as is his way Without weigh or measure For evil or innocence For Wealth or austerity For the Wise and the Foolish Stood before a cold eye Stripped before him Each revealed to be simply well dressed meat We were reaped and souls cast to the winds So we each ran before the flame We felt its hot breath singe We felt its cold heart burn Neither heart nor hearth Could stop its ceaseless tide And so it came to pass That man became a memory And the earth she did not mourn him The animals missed not his steel And the Sun ne'er missed a turn for his passing I aint as good as I once was but I'm as good, once, as I ever was. - Toby Keith [This message has been edited by Walter Poe (11-08-2014 10:54 AM).] |

Mankind, the evil in the world. I would applaud, but a clearer head prevented me from doing so. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

...the earth revived and healed her man made wounds. She found her balance once again, in eons she did flourish... Lori |

Magnificent in every imaginable way, and its title, too! Typo in S5. I am sure you meant "We felt its cold heart burn". Owl |
