Autumn time Autumn time And the living aint easy Birds are flying Far away in the sky Yes life has been rich And you memories are smiling So hush little lady Don’t you cry One of these mornings You won’t hear birds singing Then you’ll spread your wings To heaven you’ll fly But until that morning Your thoughts they will stay true With all of your children standing by Autumn time And the living aint easy Birds are flying Far away in the sky Your time has been rich And your memories are smiling So hush little lady Don’t you cry With thanks to DuBose Heyward and George Gershwin |

Thank you Macchelmas. This Fits me perfectly.I was just talking to my son and told him how lucky I am that I have had a great life. Problems? Yes indeed that is what living does, brings problems, but we learn to solve them. I am healthy at age 82 soon to be 83 and remember many sad and unhappy parts of my life but put them in the back ground and concentrate on all the good that I have seen and done. So yes, Soon I will be "flying" but no tears from me and I ask my family to remember the good times and shed no tears. tears from them. Best to you,Jo |
