broken and old by generations lost a wrinkled old man endures the bitterness of it all if the sad old man could speak the things he could relate to us things buried within him tales of love that always make him cry he's been to war he chokes up on that children, he has children they haven't come around in years he has memories secrets too -- don't we all when he does finally try to speak only those we can't see understands

This is one of those poems of yours that I have to take a while to comment on. It is really quite deep and your last line kicker knocked the wind out of me it was so strong. Goes without saying it is a good poem. You have a reputation for being brutally honest when you write. I think you struck a nerve about mortality here...
