Crimson wears the hands that gather, the heartful on the season's glow into the slip and slide where upon the wind - all we watch must sadly vanish but despite the crowds that toast the colors, assembled in a fond farewell the leaves drift on and haunt my soul's condition as I know too well I'm not the type so blessed to hold and wear such glory then drop my hands and let it go [This message has been edited by EmmaRose (10-14-2014 12:09 PM).] |
