From far and wide Black heart’s corrupt The world wailed and cried Hate incarnate rising up Innocent blood is spilled No one is spared Children slaughtered and killed They obey what Satan’s dared An unholy evil reigning terror With mindless pawns Zealot blinded to their error And the faith it spawns They have nothing to lose They seek escape to heaven’s reward Death is easy to choose For life there is no regard Forgive them, they know not what they do Forgive them, they do not know You |

You're getting into the area of very troublesome people and horrific acts, Lori. I can only say . . . Hooray! If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

A sad situation.Has been for too many years.I am reading Gandhi and Churchill by Arthur Herman. The very beginning of the book brings up the early wars and unrest and the horrible killings. Randolph Churchill and then his son Winston. I have read a few other books about the Churchill family and Winston's American mother Jenny. Makes one wonder how history can be so easily changed. And again I mention Gertrude Bell (worth looking her up also who mapped out Iraq). I love true stories that tell the history. |
