And I want it all
all the luxuries
the diamonds
the pearls
everything

because
I'm so close
to wanting, needing-
becoming
nothing

and nothing is terrifying

Lori is absolutely right, Trina, your poetry is always mesmerizing and gives us a little oomph.

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.
