A Mother's Plea |

A blank canvas longs for the caressing strokes that give birth to colorful words With a heart wide open in a silence, creation is loudly heard Among the clouds are the visions of a beautiful melody The sound of a single note calling out for its true love’s harmony The mighty dreamers are destined to build on pillars of their faith Finding treasures of wisdom scattered through a path of mistakes And although, Pessimistic waters threaten to sweep hope out to sea the dreams are shielded by the words of a mother's plea “Don't give up because I believe in you" |

Eh . . . My mother espoused those words also, Kam, but she didn't back them up, nor did she tell me the truth I so needed to know in those days. Everything about my mother is clouded over with deceit and outright lies. Your poem was lovely, well written with passion. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Sorry about your mother, Jerry. I hope you can find peace that frees you of those clouds. |

Very beautiful, dear KAM39! My Mother loved me deeply and always encouraged me too. And her words have sustained me all through life, even after she moved on. Much enjoyed your write. Margherita |
