Anticipation in the air of autumn chill, looking forward to the weather changes. Long sleeves and hot ciders will warm when temperatures drop to lower ranges. Clouds and rain and crisp cool breezes will herald in the orange, yellows and red. Soon the temperature will brown blooms with freezes. The flaming colors come to life when pastels are dead. Kitchens busy now with cold weather cooking, bubbling pot and ovens baking. Tiny fingers tasting, big eyes looking for no one watching cookie taking. Break out the coats and sweater’s long sleeves, scarves and gloves and fashionable boots. Go outside enjoy the day and rake some leaves. Decorate for Halloween with an owl that hoots. Autumn is the beginning of Holiday seasons. I love this time of year for so many reasons. |

Yep, I love this time of year for the cool days and nights. The holiday's? I'm a real life Scrooge when it comes to that. Enjoyed the read very much. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

I'm not as gung ho about the holidays as I used to be but I love the days off and an excuse to decorate. Lori |
