light up a cigarette ahhh . . . suicide rewarding calms you down curbs your appetite my baby and I give each other bodily warmth sharing our needs as easily as we share our love for what is love if not sharing what's inside our hearts love is not all honeymoon with sparkling champagne at your fingertips no . . . each loving couple must work out how to make love last through the years and hard times doesn't have to be forever exciting! but it does need to retain enough of the exciting times to recognize them when they visit us again that then is when we put away our day-to-day sometimes mundane drudgery of living to break out in an understanding smile narcotic rapture burns inside oh, the dark need of flesh as our lips meet I taste the dead years of our past. ©September 5, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
