Bubble Plastic

Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I got an idea
I think is fantastic
I’m going to make
a suit of bubble plastic
I will make it with
lots of love and affection
for my husband
and his protection
He is always bumping
into this or that
All too often he hits his head
so I will make him a bubble plastic hat
It will have a double layer
across his brow
So no more goose eggs
on his noggin now
With his new plastic pants
not a single shin
will ever have to
lose some skin
as he goes about his day
No more worries about
him being bloody and bruised
When it’s quitting time
it is the suit that’s been abused
I know my idea
can’t be topped
and when he finds
all his bubbles have been popped
I will make him another
suit of love and affection
just for him
and his protection
