When I see you, anytime that might be, It is a spirit that I see, not just a lovely form, It is a heart warm, that gets my blood flowing, And the knowing, what used to be, When I see you. When I touch you, not ever often enough for me, I feel anguish flee, chill dissipates in warm Touching your form, a caress of emotion growing, And the knowing, what it could be, When I touch you. When I think of you, more often than you believe, I feel my heart grieve, knowing thoughts of you Are all that I do, for you’re not here, Not even near, and they can be, Dreams aren’t reality. True enough...about dreams and how they collide with reality. This is a bittersweet beauty... |

Thank you all who read my humble words I understand the difficulty my subject matter causes to the ability to respond. Lori, I am honored that I touched emotionally. Blues, I find less and less I want to separate dreams and reality And often wish to step from one to the other. Ida, Thank you, I write much more than I post. Sunshine, Another is here now, Sorry it isn’t bright and happy, but that’s expected. Gloom |
