Summer Evening (an impression) Gentle twilight settles in with lovely teal-tipped clouds against a salmon sunset sky and a grand-bright Summer moon rising. The forest edge grows dark and silent beneath an infinite mantle of tremulous stars. A soft celestial wind still stirs ripples on this crystal lake of dreams and silvered willow leaves to dance with the spirits of these ‘endless’ hills, perhaps to some ancient Celtic tune drifting in and out of Time. One thinks of all those who have ever loved and walked such mystic woodland ways before. --- b. e. adams (7/16/2014) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (07-16-2014 10:59 PM).] |

Thanks for "breaking the ice," Bruce. This yet another of your word weaving that is so fascinating. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

This is is at the top of my list of favorites of yours. I have a soft spot for Celtic music and that just pulled it all together for the finale of the last line. Lori |
