CHANCE MEETING That day I nearly passed you by A smile, a twinkle in your eye I turned around, what words to speak Not the contact I tend to seek You said Hello, do I know you Sorry I said, I just mistook Just thought that I had seen your face Not around here, some other place I'm not so sure, you simply said Then saw the book, that I'd just read Did you enjoy, perhaps you'll tell Well yes I said, she writes so well You smiled at me, where should I sign For you had wrote, this book of mine |

The book was the ice breaker. Not the first time that has happened. Long live books and strangers meeting. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
